Meet our little girl with no name--our little cat that is. Never thought it would happen, huh? Well it did. That means hell froze over, pigs flew and a black man became president. Lately I've been sending Elliott pictures of free kittens off of craigslist. We looked at one on Thursday night that wasn't too old, ugly, dusty looking or fat by his standards. The night went on and the laptop was shut. I wasn't heartbroken because I knew when it was time to get a cat we would get one--not to sound melodramatic, it's not as though she's a child..... BUT ANYWAY.
On our way home from shopping in Tempe, Elliott took a turn on the road that didn't exactly lead toward Gilbert, it led toward Ahwatukee! I was suspicious. Sure enough, he confessed to having called the woman with the 11 month old kitten that wasn't too old, ugly, dusty looking or fat by his standards. Thirty minutes later we were riding home with our new kitty, free of charge.
She's a little mischevious, and a little restless during the night (looks like the laundry room will be her new bedroom at bedtime) but she's ours! After four declaws (yeah, we're that cautious) and a spaying this week, she'll be set to settle in. In the mean time... what about that name?!

I can't really say congrats because I'm not a huge fan of cats, but that was really sweet of Elliott! Maybe name it Elliottina??
You should name her Fooz cause that was the wwek elliot and i won the first anual ATSU fooz ball tournament
Hahah that sounds like a lot of fun! Jared wants to get a cat....but I don't particularly care for cats all that much. But I am getting really tempted. Congrats on the cat though! Thats exciting. But you can't bring it in our apartment....I just got a fish!!! :)
